2026年7月13日、Holoeyes株式会社（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役CEO：杉本真樹、以下「Holoeyes」）は、企業向けXRソリューション「Holoeyes Biz」の取り組みの一環として、株式会社アットワーキング（本社：東京都千代田区、代表取締役：斉藤匡）が取り扱う眼内コンタクトレンズ「アイピーシーエル®（IPCL® V2.0）」の、医療従事者向けプロモーション・製品体験型XRコンテンツを制作しました。
2026年6月26日（金）から28日（日）まで東京国際フォーラムで開催された「第41回JSCRS学術総会」の企業展示ブースにて本コンテンツが活用され、多くの医師・医療従事者から好評を得ました。
 
精緻なXR空間で「製品体験」を実現
今回のXRコンテンツは、術式に沿ったアイピーシーエルの挿入プロセスと、インジェクターによる眼内展開機序を、メタバース空間上で実際に操作することにより、医療従事者の製品に対する理解を深めることを主目的としています。
眼球断面モデルを活用したレンズの創口位置・大きさ・形状や、インジェクターの挿入角度・深さ、角膜のカーブなどの細部に至るまで、実際の手術環境に限りなく近づけることを追求。VR空間内で製品や眼球断面モデルを拡大しての覗き込みや回り込みなど、視点や身体を自由に動かしながら操作・擬似体験できる仕組みを整え、より深い製品理解を支援するコンテンツを実現しました。
Holoeyes Bizの強みである「医師監修による高度な3Dモデリング」と「用途に応じた的確なストーリーボード設計」のノウハウを最大限に活かし、受託から納品まで約2週間という短期間での迅速な制作を可能にしました。
 

第41回JSCRS学術総会での活用
2026年6月26日（金）から28日（日）まで東京国際フォーラムで開催された「第41回JSCRS学術総会」において、本コンテンツを活用した製品体験型プロモーションが行われました。展示ブース正面の大画面ディスプレイに映し出される3Dモデルは遠目からも注目を集め、多くの医師が足を止めてXRコンテンツを体験しました。
本コンテンツを体験した医師からは「患者説明に良い」「一連の手術手技の動画で映像化されればトレーニングや研修に活用できるだろう」といった意見が上がり、製品説明を行ったアットワーキング社社員からも「操作が容易で、アイピーシーエルの留置位置やインジェクターの挿入角度を視覚的に説明しやすい」と、プロモーションツールとしての扱いやすさを実感する声が上がりました。

Holoeyes Biz Produces XR Product Experience Content for Intraocular Contact Lens, Showcased at the 41st JSCRS Annual Meeting

On July 13, 2026, Holoeyes Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Maki Sugimoto, MD; hereinafter “Holoeyes”) announced the production of promotional XR content for healthcare professionals featuring the intraocular contact lens “IPCL® V2.0,” distributed by Atworking Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tadashi Saito), as part of its enterprise XR solution service “Holoeyes Biz.”
The content was showcased at the corporate exhibition booth of the 41st Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (JSCRS), held at the Tokyo International Forum from June 26 to 28, 2026, and received highly positive feedback from attending physicians and healthcare professionals.
 
Delivering “Product Experience” in a Precise XR Environment
The XR content was designed with the primary goal of deepening healthcare professionals’ understanding of the IPCL product by enabling hands-on operation in a metaverse environment—following the actual surgical procedure for lens insertion and intraocular deployment via the injector.
Every detail was pursued with precision alongside Atworking Co., Ltd., from the incision position, size, and shape of the lens using a cross-sectional eye model, to the injector insertion angle, depth, and corneal curvature. The result is an immersive experience where users can zoom in, look around, and move freely within the VR space to explore the product and eye model from any angle.
Leveraging Holoeyes Biz’s core strengths—physician-supervised high-precision 3D modeling and purpose-driven storyboard design—the content was delivered within approximately two weeks from commission to completion.
 
Showcased at the 41st JSCRS Annual Meeting
At the corporate exhibition booth of the 41st JSCRS Annual Meeting, the XR content attracted significant attention, with many physicians stopping to experience it firsthand. Physicians who engaged with the content commented: “This would be great for patient education,” and “If the surgical technique were animated into a video, it could be used for training and education.” Sales representatives from Atworking also noted: “It’s easy to operate and makes it straightforward to visually explain the IPCL placement position and injector insertion angle.”
