AIによる医用画像の3D化とXRを組み合わせ、画像の作成から活用までを支援

Holoeyes株式会社（本社：東京都港区、以下「当社」）は、AIによる医用画像処理と、XRによる画像の表示・共有を組み合わせた製品・サービスの開発を進めます。医療用画像処理ソフトウェア「Holoeyes MD」で培ってきた技術と知見を活かし、AI・ソフトウェアを核とした総合医療機器メーカーへの発展を目指します。

当社が培ってきた医療機関への導入・運用の知見をもとに、医療従事者とともに使いやすさや活用方法を検証し、画像の準備から閲覧・共有までを支える仕組みづくりを進めます。

事業展開の背景

Holoeyesは2016年の創業以来、医用画像や医療知見を空間的に再現・共有する技術の研究開発と、医療現場への導入に取り組んできました。医療用画像処理ソフトウェア「Holoeyes MD」をはじめとする製品・サービスを通じて、医療従事者による3Dモデルの閲覧・操作・共有を支援しています。

当社は2026年10月23日、全株式の譲渡によりIntelliGen Technology（以下「IGT」）グループの一員となりました。

IGTグループのAIによる画像処理技術と、当社のXR技術や医療機関への導入・運用の知見を組み合わせ、画像作成の負担軽減と、医療チームでの画像の共有・活用を支える製品・サービスの実現を目指します。なお、Holoeyesの既存サービスは引き続き提供いたします。

今後の取り組み

1．AIによる画像処理とXRをつなぐ次世代ワークステーションの開発

IGTが開発する「Anatomy Cloud」のAI画像処理技術と「Holoeyes MD」のXR技術を組み合わせ、画像の3D化、確認、共有、空間的な表示までをつなぐ次世代のワークステーションの開発を進めます。クラウドでの提供も視野に、医療機関の利用目的や既存の院内環境に合わせて導入できる構成を検討してまいります。

2．医療現場での活用と導入・運用支援の充実

医療従事者の意見を取り入れながら、画像の準備から実際の利用までの操作性や支援体制を整え、継続して利用できる環境づくりに取り組みます。MRを含む空間コンピューティング技術を活かし、医療現場や医療教育における新たな活用方法の検証も進めてまいります。

今後新たに組み合わせて提供する機能・サービスについては、対象用途や提供形態に応じた検証・必要な手続きを進めます。仕様、提供時期、価格等は、準備が整い次第お知らせいたします。

Holoeyes to Expand Its Healthcare Business with AI and XR

Combining AI-powered 3D medical imaging with XR to support image creation and use in healthcare

Holoeyes Inc. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter “Holoeyes”) will advance the development of products and services that combine AI-powered medical image processing with XR visualization and sharing. Building on the technology and expertise developed through Holoeyes MD medical image processing software, Holoeyes aims to grow into a comprehensive medical device company with AI and software at its core.

Drawing on its experience in deployment and operation at healthcare institutions, Holoeyes will work with healthcare professionals to evaluate usability and practical applications, developing solutions that support the process from image preparation to viewing and sharing.

Background to the Business Expansion

Since its founding in 2016, Holoeyes has researched and developed technologies for spatially reproducing and sharing medical images and medical knowledge, and has worked to bring these technologies into healthcare settings. Through products and services including Holoeyes MD medical image processing software, Holoeyes supports healthcare professionals in viewing, manipulating and sharing 3D models.

On October 23, 2026, Holoeyes became a member of the IntelliGen Technology group (hereinafter “IGT”) through the transfer of all of its shares.

Holoeyes will combine the IGT Group’s AI-powered image processing technology with its own XR technology and experience in deployment and operation at healthcare institutions. It aims to develop products and services that reduce the workload of image preparation and support image sharing and use by medical teams. Holoeyes will continue to provide its existing services.

Future Initiatives

1. Developing a next-generation workstation combining AI image processing and XR

Holoeyes will combine the AI-powered image processing technology of Anatomy Cloud, developed by IGT, with the XR technology of Holoeyes MD to develop a next-generation workstation connecting 3D image generation, review, sharing and spatial visualization. With cloud delivery also under consideration, Holoeyes will explore configurations that healthcare institutions can adopt according to their intended use and existing IT environments.

2. Supporting use in healthcare settings and strengthening deployment and operational support

Drawing on feedback from healthcare professionals, Holoeyes will improve usability and support from image preparation through to actual use, helping institutions establish environments that support continued use. It will also evaluate new applications in healthcare settings and medical education using spatial computing technologies, including MR.

New combinations of functions and services will undergo validation and the necessary procedures for their intended uses and delivery models. Specifications, availability and pricing will be announced when preparations are in place.

Guided by its mission to “optimize healthcare by spatially reproducing and sharing medical images and medical knowledge,” Holoeyes will continue to work with healthcare professionals on technology research and development and its application in healthcare settings.
